stckrz
A collage and scrapbooking app for iPhone. Turn your own photos and videos into scrapbook pages, with a deep library of stickers, backgrounds and scraps. Built and shipped by Tennnis, start to App Store, as a test of how fast an AI-assisted build can move when nobody is waiting on a handoff.

The problem
Making a scrapbook page takes three apps and half an hour. Crop somewhere, cut a subject out somewhere else, hunt for a background, then assemble the whole thing in a tool that was built for posters rather than memories.
The interesting constraint was privacy. People scrapbook their kids and their holidays, so shipping those photos and videos to a server just to cut them out was not an option we wanted to defend. The cutout had to run on the phone.
What we built
One canvas. Drop in photos and video, lift subjects out on device, then layer stickers, backgrounds and scraps until the page looks like yours. Pages export as images or short clips, ready to post or print.
The whole app is native Swift and SwiftUI with Apple’s on-device vision stack doing the cutouts. No account, and your photos only leave the phone if you choose to send a page to someone. The cutouts cost us nothing to run, because your phone does the work. That matters more than it sounds: a feature with no per-use bill can stay live forever while the app finds an audience.
How it moved fast
Five weeks from first sketch to a live listing, two of us, part time. AI-assisted development did the parts that are typing rather than thinking: settings screens, the paywall, the App Store metadata, the icon variants at every size.
That freed the budget for the part users feel, which was the cutout quality and how a page feels to arrange under your thumb. This is the same split we bring to client work.
The methods on client projects get tested on our own products first. If a shortcut costs quality, we find out on our App Store rating instead of yours.
